I didn't realize Aldridge was that much stronger than him.

He's ridiculously strong and can bully his way with a lot of his opponents. I wish he would do it more often.

exactly. He bullies Green too. I wish he'd stop shooting 19 footers against golden state.

His lack of bullying seems to be a matter of choice unfortunately... it's like he doesn't realize he's got more mass than probably a good 75% of the big men in the league right now. Not bashing, just saying. A bulldog who looks in the mirror and sees a chihuahua

Aldridge is roughly 6'11.25 in shoes, 265 lbs, with a 7-4'' wingspan. Towns is roughly 6'11.25 in shoes, 250 lbs, with a 7'3'' wingspan.

Aldridge obviously lacks the mean streak of a Cousins, but when the spirit moves him, he's one of the most overpowering post up players in the league and he clearly still gets up for premier power forwards (even though Towns probably skews closer to a center, he primarily functions as their power forward, a la prime Duncan).

Aldridge is like one of the heaviest bigs in the league. ..of course he can bully most players.

The complaints about him is that sometimes he settles way too much.

Towns still has baby-fat while LMA has old man strength.

It's all Diaw's doing, tbh. He taught LaMarcus to pump up that a$$.

But seriously, he needs to do it more and make sure he finishes. Hate to see him back down the crap out of his defender only to miss the lay up.

If LMA stays with the Spurs beyond this contract, he's going to be just fine as a center. It's going to be interesting to see if LMA and Embiid are matched up in the Sixers game.

That will be about the same age when Duncan finally threw in the towel and played center himself, if I remember right.
