It's been bad since 2014 tbh, just a lot more noticeable this year since Duncan retired. Even at 40 he was the best at contesting/blocking shots without making contact with the shooter. Made it really tough for the refs to call a foul since there was nothing there; would make it way too obvious if there were a bunch of clear phantom calls.
