2 reasons:
1. UT just beat their long time nemesis last weekend, and will have a mild letdown.
2. Colorado has a great run defense and the best FG kicker and best punter in the nation.

God damn it i watched that big 12 championship game in tears cause the horns started Simms over Applewhite...that was the hugest mistake ever, simms didnt have as much talent as Applewhite did, and Major proved that when he came in and almost came back and won the damn game....The Horns have Vince Young now who will tear them up by himself if he has to. REmember, the BCS standings come out next week, and don't think Mack Brown doesn't know about it. He'll want UT to paste the Buffs in order to show the nation they should be ranked #2 (or even #1). Why do you think he left the starters in the entire game vs. Oklahoma?
CU managed to let an average-offense Miami score 23 points and Col. St. to score something like 28. What do you think a high-powered offense like Texas will do? Also, CU has only met one good defensive unit, Miami, and look what happened - they scored 3 points.
