    Didn't Denver also trade a first round draft pick to Portland. LOL. Unbelievable deal for Portland. Did Denver really want Plumlee that bad or was the first round pick to get rid of Nurkic? Nurkic is also only 22 years old, I think? Portland got a great deal there. Meanwhile, the Spurs had injury issues with Pau Gasol at the time and signed Joel Anthony, couldn't even get someone younger with potential. The front office was just not willing to improve the team at the trade deadline. IMO, they didn't try hard enough. Yeah, yeah, people will say that we don't know what goes on behind closed doors and maybe the Spurs tried, but I seriously doubt it. They go for that nice guy, don't rock the boat, chemistry bull all the time and pass up better players when available because of it.

    Seems to me like a Euro version of Baynes. Probably needs conditioning that would be gained by playing solid backup center minutes. With TD coaching, could develop some more skills and coordination. Worth a late 1st rounder + Kyle or Simmons IMO.
