Gave his picks on that show he has. I like Rose but that show is awkward.

Kawhi doesnt deserve DPOY tbh. Still the best defender in the league but not this year. He feserves MVP though.

Best defender on the number one defensive team. He deserves both TBH.

And this is why Green will never get serious All-Defense consideration.

But Leonard has a pretty good chance of winning DPOY though. I think NBA wants to crown him as the best defender of all time. Multiple personalities already echo that opinion.

Leonard won't get MVP or DPY, but I think people still accept that he's the best defender in the game, but like LeBron or Jordan, they aren't going to give you the award every year, though everyone knew they were the best every year they played.

Kawhi hasn't been the best defender this year. Anyone remotely objective should be able to admit that. But it's safe to say it would take more than one bad year to dethrone him

Third best spur defender this year tbh and that's me looking at things with huge subjective lenses.

LeBron is the best player in the game, but other guys have had better seasons this year. Kawhi is the best defender in the game, but guys have had better defensive seasons. The Spurs have not asked Kawhi to be as good as he is. He often doesn't guard the other team's best player until the middle of the 4th quarter. They have saved his energy for offense and then turned his defense loose the last 5 minutes of the game. And consequently, Kawhi has had a bunch of game winning performances with a big defensive play in the last few possessions.

Lebron never won nor deserved a DPOY.

Was referring to him being the best overall player...MVP. But LeBron is a great defender. But bc of what he does on offense, he rests on defense until money time.

Kawhi getting NBA 1st team wouldn't be a pity award. Gobert should be the DPOY, but I'd rather see Kawhi win it again (even if undeserving) than Draymond win it. Just to see his mom have another twitter meltdown.

In theory Lebron could've / could win DPOY. But like you say, he doesn't want to sacrifice any offense for it. That to me is what makes Kawhi the clear cut MVP. He's actively a top five player at both ends of the court while leading his team to 60 plus wins. Nobody else even comes close to that distinction. It'll be a total ripoff if he doesn't win the MVP.

Even now, the ESPN cuck on TV (Raptors/Bucks) is saying "this has to be the toughest year to choose" and then choosing "triple-double" Westbrook. No, it's not tough at all. It's stat padders versus the guy who is getting it done.

I disagree. LeBron's role is so important on offense, he reserves his defense until it's needed, I.e. 4th quarter and in spots during the game. Spurs have done the same with Kawhi...for example, against the Pacers, Green spent most of the night guarding Paul George and Kawhi only guarded him in spots.
