He's better than Kirby. If he was a little more athletic he'd be MJ reincarnated.

You cannot but Curry in the same conversation. He's a prodigy shot maker never before seen in the history of the league (maybe never again). Kobe and Kawhi were 2 way players at 25.
Imagine Kawhi with prime Shaq.
MJ at 25 was averaging 32/8/8/3stls MVP/DPOY that season I believe.
and scoring le?
.264 WS/48 for Kawhi compared to .210 for Kobe (career high .224) and .225 for Curry (high last season of .318 which is insane). 7.9 BPM for Kawhi vs. 7.4 Curry and 5.7 Kobe.
Kobe has several seasons above Kawhi's usage this year which was a drag on efficiency, but Curry's only had one higher than Kawhi this year. Kobe only had one season with a higher PER than this season's Kawhi. Curry's had two.
Curry is a bad comparison though as nobody has ever hit shots he's hit at his frequency.
Will be interesting to see where he peaks or if he's peaking. Better comparison is honestly Lebron or Pippen (ways to go to match peak Lebron who's off the charts) considering Kawhi plays both ends of the floor instead of relying on Artest/Iggy.
Damn, what a GOAT.
MJ came into the league a baller. Had to wait his turn in post seasons. Kawhi's improvement in the last 3 seasons is different from MJ, Kirby and Steph not Eddy Curry tbh. He wasn't the baller to start with but has ascended to greatness from near obscurity.
Didn't average a triple double though...
It's laughable when analysts say Westbrook's season was the best ever.
