Actually could be a fluke... him hurting that wrist is probably more significant.
He's the complete opposite of most role player shooters, tbh..horrible at home, but lights-out on the road(as Rockets fans have discussed, all season)..
Numbers during the RS:
On the road- 46.7% from 3 on nearly 8 attempts per game
At home- 33% from 3, 37% from the field
1st round vs. OKC:
On the road- 52.7% from the field, 30% from 3
At home- 15% from the field, 0% from 3
Actually could be a fluke... him hurting that wrist is probably more significant.
Sample size is the entire season, tbh..
Oh I didn't know that...
wow in that case, I like Spurs chances this series.... the next one was always going to be superlative challenge.
What's up with players having significant performance differences between Home and Away..
It's mind boggling.
Maybe too much good looking hookers in Houston
weird numbers.
He is also pretty good at shattering opponents balls on the road, tbh.
Look at his career 3PT% in playoffs vs regular season. Typically when game planned for at all he sucks.
Same with Lou Williams, but he was still good vs. OKC..sometimes players just need a favorable matchup or change of scenery, tbh..
I figured the 1 positive from game 1 was that now there was a team of overconfident Rocket shooters....mainly Anderson...but then he was even better in game 2.
watch he hit 10 3's in the next two games. Would be the most Spurs thing ever. Struggling player goes off on us.
I thought Ryan Anderson was a Spurs Killer(hadn't seen him play in a minute, my memory was fuzzy), but his career shooting numbers vs. the Spurs are actually the 4th worst among all his opponents![]()
He lit up Diaw big time last season while he was in New Orleans... 30 pts, I think it was a career high (or season high at least)
The following two games against New Orleans Kyle Anderson played and Ryan Anderson was muted (Diaw saw a lot of bench time)... Then there was the one game he busted Manu's nuts... still he was held in check.
Really sad KA fell out of Pop's favor but that above ^ was a real story.
Ya, that's why I thought he was a Spurs killer, some of his big games stood out to me..that's human nature, though, selective memory..
Ariza, Gordon, Lou and Capela will pick up the slack, no biggie.
On a serious note, it was good to see Pau holding Nene in check. We have no chance if we get beat in the front court matchup.
This. Those numbers are interesting but completely irrelevant vs the Spurs. He'll keep making them, even the bad ones.
I heard that Anderson has AIDS and may not be able to finish the season.
Their role players especially Anderson and Gordon have been hot hopefully they cool off and we can steal one.
And Eric Gordon.
WTF he turns into the All Star Game 3 point chucker these past two games.
I could see playing better at home not road
shoot some cortisone into it and he'll be fine to play tbh
Anderson 0-4
Nene 0-5

You gotta love regression to the mean, the law of averages, etc.
