Haven't heard someone mention it, but I don't know if I was just enjoying the moment and didn't fully read the game..So correct me if I am wrong.

But The Spurs went under in almost all possessions against their secondary Penetrators..Gordon, Lou, Beverly and even Harden at times.

I mentioned doing this before game 2, but the penetration is what generates crazy amount of open threes..Rhythm threes too.

Forcing them to dribble and shoot the three open or not, is much better than a rhytem shot from a penetration pass.

Should the Spurs Employ a smiliar strategy against the warriors?

We're beating Golden State, imo. I have a thread specifically explaning why.

You guys will bow down to me when that happens.

I root for you and this prediction. I like your optimism and I wanted to see this matchup and as they say "let the games be played out."

One of the saddest things about the Tony injury (aside from the tragedy itself and the uncertainty it leaves the Spurs in and his career specifically), is that we are deprived of seeing that matchup as it was intended to be. Teams as good as GSW require all your horses.

Frankly it's actually "the demise of Lamarcus" that had me thinking defeating GSW was not going to happen. It wasn't even about them tbh. Lamarcus is playing too poorly... Pau/Lee not that inspiring either. Spurs have young guys with upside but they don't play. It's all the issues we have complained about but that are now magnified bc Tony's production is missing.
