pity post
I looked at most of the series games this week, and the majority of the teams are taking over 30 3pt attempts a game and shooting roughly 30% with those shot. Cleveland and GSW are better at making 3pt shots. My question is, what would you have to make up shooting a better 2pt shot to overcome the chuckin a bad 3pt shot and win the game? It seems to me that most teams are willing to chance poor 3pt shooting in place of a higher percentage 2pt shot to win a game. Just seems crazy to me. Yes I do know 3pts is more than 2pts, but at what cost? Shooting 30% on 35 shots from 3pt land seems like a bad decision to me.
