Couldn't have come at a better time, tbh...

Being a ball-dominant PG, Parker sometimes took away other guys' shots.

We need to attack their bigs more. I'm literally screaming at the TV for Pop to feed the bigs in the post when Pringles goes small. We can win this series riding on our bigs

This is exactly the kind of game Aldridge needs to play for the Spurs to win this series.

i expected him to dominate this series, hopefully he keeps it up. there were a couple moments where he hurried a couple shots though, tbh.

His shot was much better today, but the bulk of his work was done in the paint. Every time he's tried to play physical, he's been successful. He wants to be a finesse player when he has the potential for so much more.

I think he thrived because he had to step up because of Parkers absence. Parker was normally good for LA.

Spurs didn't win because of their stellar offense. They won because of stellar defense. I thought the defense for long stretches was fantastic, and Danny was a man on a mission. I've said many times (and still believe) that Danny is the best transition defender in the league.

They also missed him a bunch of times when he had his man beat and pinned down low. Kawhi needs to develop his ability to get that entry pass to lma when he's running around. Lma almost always ends up wide opne under the rim. Gasol too. Happy to see lma play like himself. Let the ball fly, he's a shooter .

Kawhi and lma playing at their optimal levels can compete with anyone.

Nono is trolling a bit. the biggest change was stopping or dramatically reducing the posting up of LMA, and looking to have him seal his defender under the basket and catch lobs for easy lay ups or fouls. why Pop didn't do that earlier?
Bc the best passer for those looks was Pau and he played a lot with the bench and Pau himself had been shaky and had minutes cut earlier. I am actually glad both bigs showed up and loved their 2 man game.
