Just got my ticket for Game One at Oracle. Section 112, Row 21.

Last time I pulled a stunt like this was a spur -of-the-moment trip to Phoenix for Game One of the 2005 WCF. The Spurs were a big underdog but won both road games to open the series. Went on to win the le against Detroit.

Must admit I'm irrationally optimistic about this series.

Spurs because Curry is an overrated chucker and Green doesn't even fit on the team. The only problem is Klay is a better scorer than Kawhi but he never gets the ball so not really an issue.

2. A few hungry dudes who are up for big contracts and can already smell the money. They will come in wanting to tear down curry from the pedestal and take his heart.
3. Maybe a few guys who need to redeem themselves.
4. Let's go all the way irrational. yea Murray the second big one.
5. No need to spell anything else, Kawhi MVP... should have been reason no 1-4 already.

I have this hope that Pop has been planning for this for 3 years since the Dubs became a serious contender.

Also, prepare your adjustments in advance, but don't actually show them until after halftime. That way Mike Brown can't call Kerr about what do. Just kidding (sort of)....
