Honestly the worst playoffs in my lifetime..I've barely watched full non-Spurs games, just mostly checking box scores until a game gets tight late..Would be fitting if Lebron gets injured and big fat asterisk gets attached to Warriors and Domoinoes' le..

    I forgot about this shiiiiiiiiit:

8 vs 5 gives LeHype a great chance to repeat. This ^^^ is some straight BULL . This is why I don't like LeHype. He gets away with this type of going on 14 years. at him in the GOAT convo. Without the refs aiding his "greatness" he ain't . LeHype.

Wagers on: Warriors to win 4-1 or 4-0 (+185), Curry MVP (+225), big bet on Warriors to win series (-260)

Rooting for the Cavs, but I think the Dubs take this in 5, maybe 4.

& Media will then discredit it, water down the accomplishment, take Durant into the center of the tv screen and beat him down while making over Kerr on his sick bed (it's the ins utional white thing, don't you know.) Kerr will "aw shucks it" - but pleased as punch over it. He ain't immune from allowing himself his white privilege...figures beating Trump down out loud makes him even in the eyes of an all mighty.

This loss will be hard for Media to assign to James, but, they'll get it done by hook, or, by crook, mostly by crook. It'll be there where the comedy rests, watching them turn loss for James into victory for James, save his bacon for him. In olden times they'd toss Magic, Jabbar, Worthy and me into a corner and laugh like at us.

Warriors in 5. It won't quite be a '14 Spurs level thrashing, but it'll be relatively close.

The media is trying to hype this up as some legendary rivalry between two teams fighting for the le of greatest of their era (as if 3 years cons utes an era), but the truth is the Cavaliers are a run of the mill elite team; not an all-time great one. They were arguably the 5th best team in '15, 4th in '16 and 3rd in '17. They've benefitted from ever other elite team being in the West and capitalized on myriad breaks last season to eke out the championship. Since those breaks were of the run of the mill variety, it doesn't denigrate what they did though.

When this is over, hopefully the media stops pretending this was ever an intriguing match-up and starts to realize what was obvious last July 4th: The league has been ruined and it's not changing for the foreseeable future.

agreed. hoping the warriors sweep so the analysts can stop insulting our intelligence acting as if KD didn't destroy the league in a historically unprecedented, cowardly move

the only reason ppl didn't immediately tune out when KD went to the warriors is because lebron exists. ppl will give him the benefit of the doubt, and those that don't are just happy KD went to GSW because they hate lebron and want to see him lose

don't care how many "elite" teams are located out west, all elite teams aren't created equal and no one can beat GSW 4 times. that's why KD did what he did. he's desperate

i just want to know what the threshold is. if harden and cp3 demand trades to GSW and then play for a dollar just because they're sick of being memes and want rings is that cool just because "they have a right to work where they want" or w/e ridiculous false equivalencies they concoct?

    KD

I don't recall, but was the year the Lakers went 15-1 this level bad? I know the Eastern was pretty compe ive that year. Outside of the Cavs v. Pacers series and a little drama with the Celtics, this has been a moribund playoffs for sure. I think it'll be GSW in 6, but with what happened last year who knows what manufactured narrative the NBA will concoct.

Getting physical with a team's catalytic lead guard is an old strategy. That's what teams did to Mark Price back in the day.

i called cavs in 6. i want to see the warriors perform under pressure tbh i have to see Durant actually get over the Lebrons slave thing. I have to see Mike Brown make adjustments. I have to see Curry come up clutch. Cavs have the most clutch player in the Finals imo and that's Irving.

The cavs have players that can get around the rim like Love, Thompson, Irving and James. Warriors are mostly shooters. I still have to see a jumpshooting team win a finals. The Warriors first le was against a Cavs team without Irving and Love. I have to see players like McCaw and Ian Clark show up in the NBA Finals.
