What a clown.
..
Continues to talk smack and act tough in a 73-win team....Bulletin board material for Kawhi to destroy this got next season..
Kawhi completely dominates him in the impact metrics..Durbeta essentially getting easier shots playing in far more stacked team, which is translating in the various shooting percentages above..
Actually surprised at how big KD's head is getting bc of this chip that he was just gifted for bandwaggoning on a 73-win team. Dude is a delusional.
I was never as wrong about someone character--I didn't knew personally-- as I was about this guy. Really didn't see this sickening levels of baggery and cowardice in him until the past year or so..
Same here. I was actually a fan of this guy his first couple years in the league![]()
KD was complimenting Lebron as a gesture of gra ude after a win. Had nothing to do with KL but you cannot tell that to Spurs fans. So now Kawhi is = to KD?
Of course not, Kawhi is better.
KD feels that he and Lebron were the best two players in the league since 2012. Even a certain mouthguard-chewing teammate of his doesn't belong in the conversation.
KAwhi is better AND younger. KD. Wouldn't want that mental princess on the Spurs...ever.
I didn't take it as a dig to Kawhi, either.
But, there's arguments to be made for both Kawhi and Durant as to which player is better.
Which means, KL=KD - and I'd take Kawhi.
So, you think that KD is painfully unaware of how good Kawhi is? Because otherwise, that's a dig, dude.
I fear for this guy he's believing his own tale
Kwahi is a more complete player, true end to end BB player. Durant is first a shooting specialist and then he brings everything else. Durant can be shot down by a defensive specialist who is long enough to keep up ( o Kwahi) but it's pretty difficult to stop Kwahi because of his overall game. Kwahi and Lebron share that trait of being omnipresent.
First 2-3 years of Kwahi in San Antonio he had pretty much everything except contributing with a lot of points. Now he's the complete package. Kwahi will own for the next 5-7 years - he's a freak of nature
Translation: I'm the best player in the league next to Lebron
I never understood why people bought his fake-humble routine early in his career and I don't understand the media defending him as much as they do considering how dismissive and miserable he is with them.
The main reason this comment is ignorant, isn't so much Leonard (because he's only entered their stratosphere in the past 1-2 seasons), as it is Curry, Westbrook and Harden. As in, past or present teammates, who are all clear cut top 8 players. We know their stature, particularly Curry's, limits their all around effect compared to James, Durant and Leonard, but that's irrelevant in this case. When you've played with players that good and are playing with a player that great, you think you'd have the decency to abstain from that type of talk publicly, out of respect for them more than anything.
No, I think that was meant as gesture in the heat of a battle to a defeated foe, who's obviously the best in the game.
Maybe I'm giving him the benefit of a doubt, maybe not. I do hope Kawhi takes it as a dig, the way Jordan used to.
Sounds about right. Durant looks at Kawhi eye to because Kawhi is his and lebrons daddy tbh...
See, there's a glass-half-full kind of dude. It was a compliment.![]()
His tweet about Kawhi after 2014 fmvp really opened up a lot of people's eyes about how he really is.
Durant fit in perfectly with Curry Thompson and Green.
Leonard has only reached great status the last two seasons, and Aldridge is the only other 'great' player he's played with.
Not fair to compare Leonard against Durant yet. But I do like his trajectory and I think he's a good bet to not only beat Durant for 1st team in 2018 but a 50/50 for the league MVP.
If Paul signs I may have to amend that as he would not get as much credit for the 65+ wins San Antonio will get in 2018.
I think the last 2 series the Warriors played showed the world who the best player in the NBA is. Leonard was tearing their asses up on his way to a 40 point game and locking KD down. Lebron, with better teammates and inferior defense, could never get his team in a position like that.
