The Los Angeles Lakers attempted to trade the No. 2 pick to the Sacramento Kings in exchange for the No. 5 and No. 10 picks in the draft.
The Lakers would have packaged one of the two Kings' picks to the Indiana Pacers along with 27, 28 and salary cap filler for Paul George.
The Kings declined the offer as they believe they can get the player they want at No. 5 while keeping a second top-10 pick in what's considered a deep draft.

seriously, either lavar ball or josh Jackson should be on a uniform this season and not Donovan Mitc , dennis smith or Zach Collins (projected 10-12th range)
why is he handing out these valuable assets like candy? I swear man, #2 especially ingram better not be part of a package to either get George or dump deng's salart. I thought we're going to get AMC/TGIF Magic but its looking more like we got the twitter version of Magic

Magic knows Longo is .. it would have been a great move to trade down, get fox and maybe markkanen.. tbh i think this draft is just terrible terrible but it is deep in pgs and longo is a walking bust waiting to destroy a franchise... not there is much to destroy though

Combined with AIDs extreme control freakism with his fantasy view of himself being some kind of ultimate basketball mind.

I've seen a lot of skinny Collins from Gonzaga at #10. Has a crap load of upside imo.
If he can eat sandwiches on a regular basis and get on some LeBron steroids he could be really good.
