    SPURS WAIVE GUARD KYLE BAILEY

    SAN ANTONIO - The San Antonio Spurs today announced that they have waived guard Kyle Bailey.

    Bailey, a 6-2 guard from Santa Clara, logged a total of 17 minutes in two preseason games with the Spurs.

    The Spurs roster now stands at 17.

    I'm sure he was thrilled to get the opportunity. He got to sign autographs in St. Thomas with Tim Duncan. He got to play in a game featuring Shaq and the Heat with a chance to win the game. He got top notch instruction from great coaches like Pop and PJ. I hope he got video.

    It is devestating to know that your dream of making an NBA roster is put on hold either temporarily or perhaps indefinately. I sure hope he can someday realize his dream. Good luck dude.

    but still...... most people would give thier left nut (or other appropriate body part) to just have the oppurtunity to be cut.
