That was a dismal performance by an overrated team. They missed tackles, made stupid plays, got way behind and didn't even remotely deserve to win. They weren't going to win the national championship even if they went undefeated, so it doesn't really matter. Good game by Virginia.
Shocking. I bet some serious money was lost on that game. I think FSU was a four point favorite.
The point spread changed from 7.5 to 4 if I remember correctly from Wednesday. Actually, that would mean more people bet on Virginia early in the week.
This is good news for UT fans. Undefeated VaTech vs. undefeated FSU in the ACC championship could have spelled disaster for the Horns, but now that threat is gone.
exactly...and with Penn State losing also...two less unbeaten teams to worry about.
Doubtful. If Texas loses a game they are probably out of it, and if they win every game nobody would have passed them. If FSU wins out and UT loses later FSU will pass them. With the voters back in control whoever loses early has an advantage on teams that lose late.
Wow, an intellectual joins the conversation.
Better than feeling pompous about a paragraph of opinions. I feel my post was just as apt as yours, as he does suck. "Derrrr, losing late hurts you more than losing now, derrr." Wow, you should be on ESPN.
You are a mongoloid.
