It's not bad actually. I like the fact that some players appear to care![]()
Kobe and Shaq need to team up again.
Anyone been watching this ? I caught a little bit, pretty entertaining tbh. Since the NBA is over and I'd rather watch some more hoops than lardball , it's growing on me more and more. It's pretty compe ive , and that's a plus. Thoughts ? Who would you want to see play?

Watched some of it. Has alot of this ancient thing they used to call "posting up".
Feels like guys are still feeling it out, but it has potential. Plus, I'm an guy past my prime, so I appreciate watching these guys play 3-3.
Not bad but could use some improvements. If a dunk is as rare as the WNBA, then the 4 point line needs to be a full arc, not that lame 4 point circles . Hated that they called the 4 pointer "Curryland" or whatever, when players like Billups have been making that shot for years (when it matters). Mike Bibby looked most in form.
Watchable but only mildly enjoyable. The guys are semi in shape, but when the game gets compe ive and goes beyond just pick-up ball, it's an injury waiting to happen for these old s. Hard pivot, knee blows out. Explode off the plant foot, Achilles explodes. In theory, should be something that could be cool to watch. But these has-beens and never-wases still think they're the and will try to prove it to feed their egos. Someone's going to die from a heart attack or have to have a leg amputated or something. You know what? Maybe it will be great to watch.
Stephen Jackson was going hard that's for sure... til he went up to dunk and missed that layup lol. Chauncey looked pissed
It looks virtually identical to a 90s NBA game IMO..
Hand checking is fair game tbh
honestly my thoughts.
The two-point FT and the ball is lame, honestly. I don't care if it's after five fouls; it needs to be either/or.
It's awful. What they should do is up the purse and make it current nba players only. They all play in the Drew League and stuff like that anyways, so this would be a great way to stay in shape and still make more money (not sure if nba would allow that).
But how sick would that be to have guys from different nba teams join up and play off season ball for money (unlike Drew League)

^^Speaking of that, did you see Arrest in the Drew League getting embarrassed by HS kids?
It's crazy how quickly some of these guys deteriorate, tbh..MWP has been finished since 2011, though, and his game wouldn't have fit well today, anyways IMO..
Didn't see that, but not surprising. Dude looks like he had 5 knee surgeries or something. Still sad.
Drew league? If it's the league the last couple years that I see on the ocho, that ain't filled with any NBA players or anything of the like. It's rejects, many of whom never even had an NBA tryout.
And the NBA will not lease out it's players to any league they don't have a stake in. They're not in existence to make that Ice guy filthy rich.
If you don't know Drew League, you should.
I went to a drew league game one time , pretty dope atmosphere.
For why?
