...light work, tbh...this kid will be great
Fitting that Dijons highlights start with a steal and assist by Kyle.
In.
His play in Summer League has been anything but so far. But I'm hoping he turns it on when it matters. Still only 20.
I will give him two more years before I call him a bust and really a late first rounder not making an impact in the NBA is not a bust is the norm.
He has had very little time to work on his game since the end of the season. 6 weeks barely starts a good habit.
He'll be going to San Diego (I wish Forbes was going also) and working with the most serious NBA man in the business and, hopefully, his game will grow. Starting with a more compact dribble in traffic and a better awareness of what to do when within 5-6 feet of the basket.
Hit the weight room... again.
Get stronger on the basics. Set good secondary screens and react to screens that are set for you better.
Develop at least a freaking semblance of a jumper! Right now mid-range would be a God-send.
He's got a lot to do and that should be said to him every single morning, when he wakes up, but if he takes the load on and builds...
He could be special in (at best) 2 years.
