Depends on your definition. Need to know more before it would fit an FBI definition IMO.
Same as all the Islamic s that have done this ... same as James Holmes, the Sandy Hook er, Dylann Roof (the Charlston church shooter), John Lee Malvo, and Tim McVeigh.
As a Trump supporter myself... I say it's stupid to not call an apple an apple. Common sense. That shooter is a terrorist.

I just don't see how it can fit into the definition of a terrorist. No apparent agenda or targeting of a certain group of people.
Neither was the Tim Mcveigh bombing and that was called a terror attack?
McVeigh wasn't a lone wolf attack and he had a political motive.
If the speculation turns out to be true and this dude just had a hissy fit because of gambling debt then I don't see how it could fall under terrorism.
I think the only ones you listed that really fall under terrorism is Dylann Roof and McVeigh. Even though the FBI didn't think Roof qualified.
McVeigh had a very specific target and agenda. So far in Vegas we have "gun nut felt shooty."
Malvo specifically targeted whites and those who opposed black nationalism.
Then you have McVeigh, who is an odd case. How does, I'm going to kill workers (who may or may not be public sector) in a public office building just because I hate all forms of government? How is that so different from, James Holmes "I'm gonna kill people for fun in the spirit of the Batman series" or "I lost a bunch o' money so I'm going to exact revenge on society by mowing people down at a concert"?
mass killings always include some sort of agenda, even if not always obvious. A mass killing is itself an attention whoring event, which could be towards politics, religion, society, etc.
Iirc McVeigh was not charged with any terrorism related crimes.
I call an apple an apple. America has a gun problem and they won't do anything about it.
His brother said the guy had no religious or political affiliations.
I think his lady friend would be the best source for what his final ideas, passions were
nothing found in his home, and his family is "dumbfounded" (like gun fellators are founded in dumbness)
and I'm still wondering where "a good man with gun" was
I repeat: O'Reilly says massacres of innocent people are the price of freedom
(of course, he lies, as always. massacres of innocent people are a symptom of a sick society, feeble, feckless, and dominated by BigCorp's intensive, predatory profit-seeking)

It doesn't matter. He was a loose cannon who got his hands on over a dozen weapons of mass murder and no one saw it coming. That's a bigger concern than what his motives were or who he voted for.
agreed.
you do know pistols are hard to be accurate at 500 yards or more right
the people in the concert would have had to have a rifle to shoot back
If all the people had handguns and shot at the shooter, then there's a good chance they would have taken him out.
And likely killed innocent people in other rooms inside the Mandalay hotel.
Not to mention making a complete mess of the building and costing the poor owner millions to repair the place instead of the thousands already expensed to replace the two windows.
Bad idea.
how many other people would have got hit
500 yards is along way for pistols
I'm pretty sure most of the guests were hunkered down and not looking out the window. That's be a of a firefight though. Thousands of people firing handguns at a hotel window at a dude with a machine gun. It'd be funny if this thing wasn't so damn tragic.
It doesn't matter if they were hunkered down or not, the fact that there's windows mean the gunfire could sail through the window, through a drywall (if necessary) and into their chest.
From the angle that everyone would be shooting from, as long as the guests weren't near the window, they'd probably be OK.
Depends. Large caliber artillery guns can often shoot through anything that's not brick, cement, stone etc. Basically glass and wood are fair game. Meaning if you shoot at an angle upwards the bullets can travel up through a floor/ceiling if it's just made of wood.
We're talking about pistols at 500 yards.
Terrorists and lunatics will always find a way to kill masses of people if they really want to. this clown had chemicals to create a bomb like McVeigh, he could have gone that route. They only thing we as America needs to do is outlaw assault rifles to the general public. They can be horror in the wrong hands.
