As someone who has been around for Super Bowls as well as a 1-15 season, I consider myself a true fan.
Just wondering how many true Cowboy fans are out there? I think real fans would never leave their team. Notice I'm referring to a team, not a city.
As someone who has been around for Super Bowls as well as a 1-15 season, I consider myself a true fan.
Who gives a crap? Why would a "true" fan care who else roots for his team?
I think he is setting up for the "if the Saints move here, who do you root for" question.
Home team or Dallas team? That's gonna be the question that a lot of San Antonio Cowboys fans will have to figure out.
The day Jerry Jones traded Jimmy Johnson was the day the Cowboys died..
GO SAS go.. go SAS go.. go go go..
I plan on buying Saints merchandise this year anyway instead of cowboys.
As well as fans of other teams.Home team or Dallas team? That's gonna be the question that a lot of San Antonio Cowboys fans will have to figure out.
Ah. That makes sense. I don't know if I could love the Ain'ts, and I've been a Cowboy fan since birth. I think if I still lived in San Antonio I'd adopt the home town team. It'd be easier if they were in the AFC, but fortunately they really suck so you can still root for both teams.
Huh?
I will never ever ever, cheer against my Cowboys, i will die a die hard cowboys fan, i have said they were the best while they were winning superbowls and they were still the best to me even when they were losing every damn game possible. I can't ever say that there will ever be another football team i will root for more. The Dallas Cowboys flag will still fly high in my apartment....
As a huge Broncos fan, I wouldn't find it hard to root for the Saints if they were to move here permanantly. I know it'll be harder for they 'boys' fans considering they are both in the NFC.
I love the Cowboys. My family is witness to that. No matter what team they have I have cheered for them. Even at the 1-15. Even with the 5-11 teams. I love them. Why not cheer for both though? That's unless they play each other. IF and when they play each other, I think I will lean towards the Cowboys, but will be happy if the Saints won. Make sense? Probably not. Oh well.
I have been a Cowboys fan since my Junior year in H.S. back in 1990.I believe they went 7-9 that year.
However I became very divided when Jones let Johnson go and there went at least 2 more Superbowls with the triplets still in their prime.Ofcourse free-agency messed up everything IMO and has made this a VERY WEAK LEAGUE.
Since then the NFC dominance has gone down and it looks like a bunch of 10-6 teams wanting to go to the SB from the NFC.The AFC is also a joke with the Colt's schedule being SO WEAK they can go on cruise control for half a quarter and they will end up losing to the NE Patriots in the AFC le game by a field goal.(Again!)
The Cowboys might have been undefeated now if not for 8 total points in both losses.I still don't believe Bledsoe is the answer and the wide receivers are aging guys.
J Jones looks good at times but is not a durable back.
Cowboys 9-7 early outing in the playoffs.
I'll still be a Cowboys fan, and I'll be pissed if the games stop airing for Saints games.
Then you'd better start lobbying to get them out of town. Because when they don't sell out the only game you'll see is the Texans game, and that's if you're lucky.
Why you cheering for Stephen A Smith???
Seriously, I would be a Cowboys fan still if the NFL comes to San Antonio but I wouldn't have a hard time supporting the home team.
However, no one knows if that day is coming. Can't really find out something on theory alone.
I'm a Cowboys fan period. Even if the Saints moved here I don't think I'd be a fan.
The San Antonio fans would go back to the Cowboys after a couple of 2-14 seasons.
When you are not a Niners fan.I'm a Cowboys fan period. Even if the Saints moved here I don't think I'd be a fan.
Besides true Cowboys fans never hope their team loses.
If san antonio gets the saints, cowboy fans better get the heck out of san antonio because this is saints country once the saints land here for good. I am loyal to San Antonio first. if you guys want to be cowboy fans, pack your trucks and go to dallas because san antonio don't need traitors in this city.
P.S. HOW DUMB ARE THE COWBOY FANS IN SAN ANTONIO. JERRY JONES DOESN'T EVEN CARE ABOUT SAN ANTONIO. JERRY JONES DOESN'T WANT SAN ANTONIO TO HAVE AN NFL TEAM TO CHEER FOR. HOW CAN YOU GUYS SUPPORT THE COWBOYS WHEN JERRY JONES IS MESSING WITH SAN ANTONIO. TALK ABOUT SOME DISLOYAL CITIIZENS.
you. I am as loyal to San Antonio as anyone here can hope to be. Right now, San Antonio does not have an NFL team, if that changes, great I am all for it and I am there because I TOO am loyal to San Antonio first. But until then I am still a Cowboy fan. I get you hate the Cowboys, you have that right. But you do not have the right to question the loyalty of someone to their hometown just because they do not feel the same way you do. You want to start to drop the disloyalty card, have the guts to do it to my face.
AMEN TO THAT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah, I know what you mean. It makes sense! But......if SA were to get an expansion team, I would root for both, but deep inside hope the Cowboys win. With the "aints? Hands down I root for the Cowboys!!!!!!!!
