Destruction of the State Dept is not incompetence, but willful destruction, as the MIC/oligarchy/Repugs have hated "soft power" State for a long time, and of course Trash-whisperer Bannon wants EVERYTHING destroyed.
The stink of incompetence gets stronger, as the United States' soft power capability vanishes. The State Department is imploding.
Failure of soft power means we have to lean on hard military force more. This trend will cost lives of service members, a realization that has dawned on the generals at the Pentagon.
Trump's incompetence and ignorance will get people killed.
