Yea, on paper it was monumentally stupid to bring in Tom Jr. and possibly create the ill will with CP3. But he may have saved his son's fledgling career. No where else was he going to start and get the quality of life boost and the magnitude of added years and millions in contract extensions. I cannot see many fathers not doing the same thing, tbh.
