Jazz forward Andrei Kirilenko was hit in the jaw during Monday's preseason game against the Suns. Trainer Gary Briggs told the Deseret News that Kirilenko was sent to a doctor after experiencing pressure in the jaw on Tuesday, but exam results were not made available to the public.

Kirilenko is currently wearing a mask because of a broken nose so any hit to his head is unlikely to result in warm fuzzy feelings. At this point he is day-to-day and his status for Thursday's preseason game against the Trailblazers is in question.

Jazz forward Andrei Kirilenko returned to practice Wednesday and was feeling much better after missing Tuesday's session to have his sore jaw examined, according to the Deseret News. Kirilenko had been hit in the jaw during Monday's preseason game against the Suns.

It sounds as though the hit Kirilenko took earlier this week won't be a problem, so now he can just focus on healing that broken nose of his. Don't let his brief injury history drastically effect how you rank him prior to your fantasy draft.
