Not really. Parker and Fatty is a dreadful combo. Even Pop's ego won't allow them to pair up on a consistent basis.
Weird way of putting it but basically yup. He’s having to come off the bench to balance out the undersized lineups. He’s been playing very well with the bench crew so I doubt Pop adjusts anything.
I love the current bench unit, tbh..I wish they had a competent big, obviously, but too late to do anything about that now..
I'd rather start Parker + Green than Murray + Mills, tbh
I like it too in a vacuum. I don't like Mills getting starters'-plus minutes while Green is the ninth man, though. Danny can play with Parker or Murray just fine and should be the sixth man if he's coming off the bench. Pop is still running Parker/Mills, and I can't really rationalize is. I don't think it's a permanent thing that Green is really backing up Anderson, as Kawhi would obviously start if/when he comes back. But even before then, the only player who should potentially get in before Green would be Gay and even he shouldn't be coming in immediately when Kawhi and LMA are both healthy.
I think this is a better unit regardless of what the stats might show. It definitely has the higher upside.
I much rather Murray + Green... U have to start ur best players... That keeps us from falling into holes we have to climb our way out of...
