Congrats to Connor!
There will be a recount though so Saccone will get a few more days before Trump blasts him as weak on Twitter.
Absentee votes and provisionals not yet counted

Congrats to Connor!

It ain't over, there are still absentee ballots from two counties where Saccone won. Saccone would likely have to win those at a higher rate than he did today's vote in those two counties, but 579 votes is hardly insurmountable.
Lamb already declaring victory. Would be hi-larious if this turned out to be another "Dewey Defeats Truman."
Some dude on TV said he would have to not only perform better than Trump did but actually better it. Something like win 70% of the outstanding votes which stands around 1500 or so.
That was best case scenario for Saccone. Republicans were already playing games though not releasing data from Westmoreland.
There are something like 1950 absentee votes in Washington County that Saccone has to win big in to have a chance.
NBC is calling it for Lamb.
He actually won the absentee ballot in Washington county. Now up 641.
Not surprised it's so close. Lamb is a pretty conservative Democrat. (Personally) Pro life, pro 2a, pro-trump tarrifs. If there were more Dems like him (center-left) out there it wouldn't be a bad thing.
Trump won PA because he wasn't a true Republican...more center-right on lot of issues, like tarrifs, which most repubs don't support.
Aside from the tariffs the Dear Leader has basically governed as Ryan's lapdog, so he's pretty true Republican in actuality after running as something different.
Calling Lamb pretty conservative might be a stretch considering his support for organized labor and the ACA.

LOL, a house district Trump won by 20 goes blue.![]()
Repugs furiously, frantically trying to screw with ballot couting, as is their tradition
Lamb ran as a Dem with a Repug platform
So much Trash's winning
I guess Trump's Lamb the sham slogan didn't go off like he had planned. Pretty sure Trump will come up with something blaming Saccone for being re ed or something.
Repugs saying Saccone was too establishment and had a porn mustache![]()
Sounds like all that's left to count is 200 absentee ballots in Greene County as well as provisionals and military ballots. Sounds doubtful there are even 641 votes left to count.
Well, you might not think he's too conservative, but he's at least to the right of the current leaders of the Dem party. I think that's a good thing...might be willing to work accross the aisle in the eight months he'll hold the district.
Repugs dont work across the aisle, the other side of the aisle is illegitimate
Compromise is weak, unmanly
Dems are already center right and fully compromised by the oligarchy, just like the Repugs
Lamb is DINO
The republicans have gone so far to the right they have force the rest of the country to go to the center left.
Virginia and Alabama and now this are prime examples. If the Bernie wing gets their way, same thing will happen to the democrats. You can’t be a purist and expect to win in ruby red states.
Meh the GOP was nothing but obstructionists for eight years. They don't get to whine about bipartisanship now that they're in charge.
I'm not whining...more hoping. Far right, and far left do no good for this country. I'm about here ideologically:
I-----------I--O--------I
Sorry, I wasn't talking you specifically, but when I hear Paul Ryan talking about unity it makes me want to hurl.
Talking about that loser. He's spinning this loss as a one in a lifetime deal and how Lamb ran as a republican.
How ing sad is that?![]()
Ken is easily the best poster in the Political Forum. Hands down.![]()
but saccone won more counties!
Before the election:
"He's a very competent person," Trump said. "He's a very hard worker. He knows things that many people don't know. He understands North Korea maybe better than anybody."
"This is a very extraordinary guy. We need him,"
After the election:
"GOP does not view (the race) as a referendum on Trump. Rather a weak candidate,"
