It's funny that all the fans that were calling them chokers two days ago are now right back on the bandwagon. That's Houston fans for ya.
"congrats ASTROS!!!!!!!"
bring another championship to TEXAS!!!!!
They did choke. But they regrouped and won it.
Unlike the Spurs in 2003.
If anyone listened to Gene Elston and Loel Passe as a child...
they are not bandwagon fans

The Houston Colt 45's had a travel "dress code".

Doesn't matter how long you've been a fan. If you abandon the team and call them chokers when they get beat by a great player on a really good team, and then cheer for them when they come back and win the next game, that seems like bandwagon jumping to me. Anybody that was disappointed after the loss is human. People that suddenly spew venom at the team just because they lose is pathetic.
Everybody likes the winner.
Do you go around jumping on the losing side of things?
I don't like the Astros, but I hope they win, but I guarantee you I won't have flags on my car.
I might get a tshirt or something... But I doubt it.
Umm, Im not sure if your being funny or serious and just dont remember.

For the record, Obstructed View was not referring to me specifically, but it was sort of a Buzzkill.
Yeah, sorry. Didn't mean to do that. I was a little annoyed that anyone would criticize the Astros, especially considering what it took just to get to this point. My observation was motivated more by support for the effort the team made.
ah crap.. I meant 04.
See what a little melatonin will do for ya?![]()
Jul 29 1989 - Craig Biggio becomes the first Houston catcher to bat leadoff in over twenty years and it seems to work out. He homers and singles in an 8-1 victory at San Francisco. Another blast is the first big league bomb for Eric Anthony. Glenn Davis and Ken Caminiti also go yard. Mark Portugal hurls a three-hit complete game, just his second win as an Astro.sourceMay 17 1990 - Eric Anthony becomes the first Astro to reach the Dome's upper reserved seats in right field with a mammoth blast off Mike Bielecki in a 5-4, eleven-inning victory against Chicago. Cincinnati's Bernie Carbo was the only previous player to do it. Ken Oberkfell's sacrifice fly scores Ken Caminiti with the game-winner.
Yes, and Jose (Sr.) is the Astros first base coach now.
What 'bout Bob Kneppa, patna?
