OP is about to tell us how PG resigning with the Thunder is a good thing when it comes to trading Kawhi as a rental.

It is, and it's a good thing for the Spurs if they are STILL trying to convince Leonard to sign an extension. PG was been a year ahead of Kawhi in a lot of things over the years, and in this case, he realized that he wasn't making back that money by signing in LA in time for Leonard to reconsider turning down an extension. If he agrees to something reasonable, I doubt PATFO will balk at a second trade request next summer. My guess is they're done with him as it is and are only hesitating because teams were scared of him going all PG on them.

nice Magic must be in panic mode. No PG, no CP3. Would LeBron go to LA with potentially just him? Spurs could still keep or trade Kawhi elsewhere.

it is a good thing, it's just a meme we have in the Kawhi thread of how many people have said this exact same thing all night long. We're keeping count.

If I'm Chicago I'd call Presti and ask for unprotected 2019, 2021 picks for Carmelo's corpse. Would save OKC a ton of cash.

Edit : They can't even do it cause they've already traded the 2020 pick right? Presti

That's right about the part where they realize he isn't going to leave OKC.

PG staying OKC is a big deal for Lakers. The Lakers forums acting like its a not a big deal and they will just wait for Leonard while developing the young players. It's not like they learnt their lesson.

Why would LeBron want to sign with Lakers? so they could get Cousins? the Lakers could even get beat by this Spurs team with or without Kawhi. Definitely lose to one of Rockets or Warriors. LeBron should sign a 1 year deal with Spurs or go to 76ers or Celtics. Sign with Lakers next season.

Cavs are the front-runners here. Leonard is not in LA. PG is not in LA. Cousins is injured. There is nothing left. Lebron goes back to the Cavs and they go hard in a deal for Kemba. Lebron is back in the finals.
