I really dont think the texans need another QB. No, what the need to worry about is fixing that offensive line of theres. Otherwise, young would be in the same postion that Carr is in, right now. I do remember seeing seeing an OL linemen being in the top of the draft. Hey how about this, why not have our own Mock draft for 2005 and the teams who are more likely to have the top 5 picks. Say the Texans, Niners, Viks, Browns, SAINTS, ans and so on.

    Is Reggie Bush coming out?

Also...if the Texans get the #1 pick...do they pick Leinart and bail on Carr?

Young can run, and he'll have to. Leinart would be killed just like Carr. They should draft Young or the best tailback available.

The angle I see is that Young is a hometown boy. Couple that with a load of Texas alums/fans in the Houston area and it seems like a natural fit.

The Texans might as well blow it all up and start again. Carr would be a nice QB for a team that actually has an offensive line.

Take Young as the #1 Overall pick as QB? He's amazingly talented and a game changer, but I don't see it happening - especially with Matt Leinart on deck.

Vince Young or Leinart won't do anything if they don't pick up an offensive line.

Vince Young will put butts in the seats. I don't know what they announced as the attendance, but the actual crowd at the Tennessee game was significantly less than capacity.

Yeah, this is most likely the scenario. Mack Brown is great at getting his guys to stay through their eligibility, and deserves a lot of credit for that. If Texas wins the National Championship (which at this point looks like a real possibility) then that might change things - but I'd have to agree that all signs point to Vince staying for his Senior year.

    But speaking of the draft...

The Saints have been compe ive this year, but with the upcoming schedule in Baton Rouge, I see them finishing with a top 5 pick. I'm hoping this somehow parlays into being in position to pick Reggie Bush. That would give the Saints real star power. Mix in Duece with Reggie and you have a real dynamic offense, if the Saints can bolster that WR core as well.

Young would be tailor-made for a Texans franchise still seeking to establish itself in its own market, as well as present it with a major opportunity to develop a fan base in Central Texas.

As for Leinhart, Bush, whoever v. Young. Young has as much talent as anyone in NCAA Division I. Young has talent that can definitely translate to the next level. I think this season has shown that he's a solid passing QB.

In regards to whether he will come out, we'll see. I would not be surprised to see him do so. He has as good of a shot at the Heisman as anyone.

i fear for Carr's life in this game...GEEZZZZ, can it get any worse for these guys...Capers new he needed to work on protecting Carr, but he decided to do jack....

Damn, scott, great minds run together. I was just thinking last week that Bush would be great for the Saints. He can spell Deuce, play some 3rd down back, and with his versatility and receiving ability, even be split out as a receiver. I think he returns kicks, too.

Does he ever! If didn't see the return he had yesterday, tune into Sports Center's top 10 this week.
