What will the reaction be if Kawhi's quad is deemed 100%? Will the sports media go into talking head mode about how the Raptors really won the trade, or will somebody start asking real questions? Did Kawhi know is quad was healed? When? How often was he examined by the doctor he and his camp chose? Is Kawhi going to keep his doctor or is he going to come to an arrangement with the Raptors for their team doctors to examine him? Lots of real questions need answers instead of "now the Lakers really know they can trade for him in two months, and he'll be healthy! "
I think the media has been waiting for years to take down PATFO a notch or two...seems like behind all those years of non-coverage was barely suppressed dislike for the team, probably because its one of the few teams whose FO doesn't talk...

Heard a lot of people talking about Mike Trout, CF for the Angels, needs to be more vocal, express himself more on social media, make an imprint that younger audiences will see which will help the business of baseball and the companies who cover it. So sounded like a broken record from 1999 to 2007 when the Spurs were making deep playoff runs and winning les. Tim Duncan needs to talk! He and the Spurs need to open themselves up to the media to promote the NBA, make an impact on the audience watching, and give access to the media businesses who paid the rights fees to show your games. You owe us!
What the sports media owes the audience is to ask informative questions that actually requires a second of thought. All they want is for someone just to say something, and then they can mold it to get a reaction. And it doesn't matter if it is a statement of fact "my injury was 100 times worse", or something they can say is outlandish "you'll have to ask Kawhi and his group", as long as they get strong reactions for or against what is said they've done their job. Their interested in stirring my emotions, and I want my brain stimulated by knowing who knew what and when. Especially when it comes to Kawhi's quad. Did he actually perpetuate a medical fraud and wasn't injured, and if he was injured and rehabbed, when was he healed to play?
