Lebron talks to Magic and tells him he's going to sign and to get him Kawhi because the Spurs are not gonna deal Kawhi to Lebron on the Lakers.
So Lebron starts waiting it out, and the lakers make a proposal but everyone thinks if you get Kawhi, you can get Lebron too.
Sixers have better assets and the Spurs start talking to them for possible trades because Lebron can join if they get Kawhi.
The Sixers are about to throw the kitchen sink but the Lakers don't want Kawhi to be traded to another team and shut down Spurs leverage and Lebron quickly signs with the Lakers
And there goes any leverage for the Spurs. And now Kawhi's side is saying Kawhi only wants to go to LA. And now other teams don't wanna trade for him.
The Lakers wanted to scare off the teams and only give out peanuts for Kawhi. They almost had Kawhi too for nothing, but the Raptors even with all the baggage, still committed to Kawhi.
We catch a ing break.
But this makes me think like Lebron and Kawhi were colluding to end up on the same team.
Also small tidbits, Lebron is reported to be talking to sixers and all of a sudden, Kawhi is fine playing there. hmmmm... Something very ing stinky for sure.

I think there was a question asked to Lebron if he has talked to Kawhi recently, and Lebron gives a vague answer like "not in a long time". Which makes it seem like he has contact with Kawhi.
But I thought “collusion” wasn’t a crime...

I had this same take when this was happening but I didn't wanna trash Kawhi like that. But facts are facts.
Kawhi had the best team and he could have pushed Pop to get Lebron, but he didn't. The Media had us as the number place to get Lebron.
Everything was in place, and everyone was wondering why Kawhi would jeopardize something like that.
I was dumbfounded. Everyone's actions make sense when you understand their motives.

When do you think they started colluding? Do you think it was once Lebron caught wind Kawhi wanted out or before, like say the end of the season?
