this is quite weird, because SA invading Qatar would goosed the price of oil and thereby Exxon's profit by $10Bs, is Rexxon T fully vested?

Kushner's family-run real estate company unsuccessfully tried to seek financing from Qatar's investment fund for a deeply troubled New York City property a month before Kushner backed a blockade on the Gulf kingdom. The same allegation surfaced during the summer of 2017, but has returned to the fore as Kushner is dogged by claims he abused his White House role for personal gain.

Qatar now coming through for the Kushner Company?

Charles Kushner . . . is in advanced talks with Brookfield Properties over a partnership to take control of the 41-story aluminum-clad tower 666 Fifth Avenue in Midtown, according to two real-estate executives who have been briefed on the pending deal but are not authorized to discuss it. Brookfield is a publicly traded company, headquartered in Canada, one of whose major investors is the Qatar Investment Authority.

Brookfield has extensive ties to Qatar. The Qatar Investment Authority is the second-largest shareholder in Brookfield Properties, ranking only behind Brookfield’s former parent company.

Looks like Qatar has been fighting back the bullying successfully so far

All their financial losses due to the blockade have been recouped

All this stupid meltdown did is push Qatar closer to Iran. Saudis are such masterminds

if he were still running Exxon, anything to goose the oil price precedes any care for USA (eg, invade Iraq for oil)

I like him too. Trump thought he was hiring a puppet and Tillerson actually did his job instead.

Nontrivally, Jared Kushner cut his teeth in international affairs in 2017 by shaking down QATAR to relieve 666 Fifth Avenue, NYC and his father's failing real-estate business.

Jared Kushner holds no official post in the US government afaik, but he is up on that stage today

I thought for a minute about posting this elsewhere, Kushner is frequently cited in dedicated Hunter Biden threads
