The NBA wont know what hit em. When Demar starts to shoot the long twos, and rudy and LMA with their trademark contested fadaway we're gonna start dominating.

LOL. I was sort of thinking the same thing. Everyone will have wiry, long defenders, trying to guard the 3 pt line while our guys DeRozan, LMA, and Gay could out muscle a lot at their positions in the post. We will get our 3 pointer the old fashion way.

A lot of the national media has already counted the spurs out. Hoping the whole team feels disrespected and will come out and shock the NBA and the national media.
The three ball ball experiment is highly overrated. It works if you’re Golden State and just so happen to have the three best three point shooters on your team. But watching the Rockets and Celtics in the conference championships jack up multiple threes was a joke of what the NBA has become.

I agree with you. Prior to the Warriors winning their recent championships there was no team in NBA history that had won les by relying heavily on the 3 ball. It's like what you said that the only reason it works for the Warriors is that they have 3 GOAT shooters. I predict the heavy reliance on the 3 ball will go away in a few years once the Warriors are no longer winning les.

I hope you are right, but I doubt it. Those GS 3-ball chuckers are inspiring kids to emulate them. The overall ability to make the 3-ball has been improving over the years, and those guys have provided even more impetus for young players to develop that skill. I think the emphasis on the 3 has altered the game, and there ain't no going back without a rule change or two.
I think a few teams got better - some will be improved due to internal development. But I heartily agree that the Spurs team that plays this season will be better than the one that actually played last season.
