Forbes and White. Forbes because he’s just too short and too bad on defense. When he’s not shooting he’s utterly useless. He got blocked so bad in the Game I just watched it must have been embarrassing.

White because he’s slow af and sloppier than Murray with the ball. Typical Spurs draft pick. He got burned by 40 year old DWade like 3 times, off the ball. He just fell asleep and became a turnstile. Like wtf dude, play like you want some PT

Btw Poeltl looks good, like he might be a steal in that trade. Bert looks good, like he gained confidence. He had a super nice block in this game. Gasol looks a year older, if that’s even possible. LMA looks just like last year but will get fewer touches with Murray running around jacking up shots. DeMar is out of shape and doesn’t have touch yet, or flow with the ball movement offense. Gay looks fantastic. Beli looks like he never left.

I guess Forbes can be a end of the bench player but his shooting can get hot at times. Not much else I see coming from him. White had a pretty good second half. Not sold on him yet, have to see his productivity in the regular season but he has made progress. I think Forbes, White, and Walker may be trading off minutes playing with that second team throughout the season. Or maybe Forbes and White will while Walker(as well as Metu) spend most of his time in G-league. No big deal Wade scoring on White, Manu was scoring on good players at his old age as well.

Murray is not far from being one, not worth more than a backup pg in his overall ability at best, we need to trade him as fast as we can while he still has some hype for some reason

I thought Derrick White played pretty good. Especially in the second half. Forbes, not so much. Not sure what the Spurs love about him, yeah he can shoot but he does not have creative ballhandling to easily get his shot off.

White is a more versatile player who has not gotten even a small fraction of the playing time opportunities Forbes has gotten. It’s too soon to say he’s not cutting it. He played well enough in the second half of last nights game to think he’s got a chance to be much better than Forbes.

I couldn't agree more. White was sloppy with the ball when he first got into the game but looked solid after that. Sadly, he might be one of our better offensive players this year. Our shooting is going to suck.

White settled down, and got better. His handles are not as bad as he showed. He was very much in control of what he was doing.

And Forbes struggled and idk what the expectations are for him. But again, it was 1 game people. 1 pre-season game. No need to over-analyze

Derrick White was +11 in 18 minutes shooting 5-9 from the field, 1-2 from three, with 4 rebs, 2 assists, a steal, and a block. Seems like success story to me.

White has barely even played yet in the NBA. He deserves the benefit of the doubt.

White just needs to be comfortable playing with the better players in the NBA. Certain moves that worked well in G-league will not translate. He lost the ball when surrounded by the defense, he shouldn't be taking the risk of driving into traffic. This means, he needs to read the defense better.

Forbes is really just one dimensional. A modern day Steve Kerr.

We'll eventually find out if this weakness can be exploited by others. I don't think a 6'4" guard like C.J. McCollum or Beal can bully White. White has enough length to give problems. White did well guarding Dragic.
