The Cowboys didn't trade Testaverde. IIRC, they released him.

    Yeah.. thats a fumble.

You know.. I like this monday night crew, its not like the sunday night crew. Three fatass know-it-alls. I'm sure they would of argued the fumble. Al and John didn't even speculate.

I take that back, madden is a tool. I'm glad the next-gen Madden game will exlude the wonderful stylings of John Madden.

Do not forget that the Jets are playing Pete Kendell a guard as the center.

    This is true.

Why don't they just leave the field and let the Falcons finish playing with themselves?

Bollinger looked really good. I would love to see how he does with an offensive line that could give him some time.

Give testaverde a break he's 64 yrs old. Barry Alvarez sold me on Bollinger. they need to give him a chance.

Jets QB goes out with leg injury

    October 24, 2005
ATLANTA (AP) -- New York Jets quarterback Vinny Testaverde injured his right Achilles' tendon and left Monday night's game against the Atlanta Falcons late in the third quarter.

The 41-year-old Testaverde, who fumbled three times in the first half, appeared to get hurt trying to escape a heavy rush. He threw an interception on the next play.

Brooks Bollinger took over on the next possession with the Jets trailing 27-7. Team officials said Testaverde's return was questionable.

Testaverde was signed by the Jets after Chad Pennington and Jay Fiedler, their top two quarterbacks, went down with injuries. He was 11-of-18 for 139 yards with the four turnovers against the Falcons.

Bollinger looked good last night. He did well in college and now hes shown he can get it done in the pros. Bollinger=MVP

I couldn't believe how many more times he spent on his back than standing up. He didn't even look like he was trying.

Jets are pretty ing pathetic..in fact I don't know how they in won 2 games so far...its just a goddamn fluke...and i think the Houston Texans who are winless are better than the Jets...the Jets are the worst team out there.

oh well hopefully they'll can this current regime after this season but i doubt it..anyways the Jets and I am glad at least my Rangers are back out on the ice again.

I feel bad for Testaverde. What a horrible way to go out.

To be fair to Vinny... he was good in his heyday with the Portsmouth Spartans.

Did you hear how the Jets were harassing Drew Brees when they called the Chargers many times trying to make a trade with them??? LOL....The Chargers finally had to tell them to stop calling because they were NOT interested...That was priceless...And desperate....
