Please Pop bring back teammate wife er for 's sake. I'd trade Poetl and Cunningham for him tbh. I know TP can't be moved until December 15th but even when White and Walker come back, Mills and Forbes will still get minutes getting raped defensively. TP at 36 is still better on both ends than those two scrubs. Thoughts?
This is the cause of the bad karma we're getting, NOT Ka , tbh.
best guard in spur history and PATFO lowballed him smh
They didn't lowball him, they said he wouldn't play bc he'd be stuck behind Murray, Mills, Forbes and even D White.
We could really use that 3ppg on 29% shooting tbh.
PATFO and fat neck fans don't realize just how nice they had it.
2017-2018:
Parker record as a starter - 15-6
Murray record as a starter - 24-24
Now they are stuck watching the midget tandem of Fatty Mills and Garbage Bin Forbes
My favorite Tony Parker memory with the spurs will always be the game at the target center when he dropped 55 against the t-pups. I was lucky enough to have been at that game when I lived in the twin cities.
I'm not that desperate, tbh.
On 3 games Tony is averaging a whopping -8.6 on BPM. As much as I would like him doing good, the reality is that he is doing exactly like we thought he would do, that is as a guy that should be out of the league but still gets playing time because of name recognition.
For as much as we give Mills and Forbes, they are still better players than Tony at this point, if only for the fact that they can at least make some shots from time to time.
Fatty Mills is a positive defensively according to DBPM. Advanced stats are and you should feel bad.
Ive seen more positive stuff about Tony from Hornets fans and beat writers on twitter than I've seen positive stuff about either of those midgets....
But yeah, if we are going to suck. I would have preferred to suck with Tony out there, than with Mills or Forbes.
Eww...no thanks. Its called moving on..
Yeah, Mills and Forbes need to hear that tbh.
Problem with bringing Parker back is we'd only get that production for a year or two, whereas with Forbes we'll get his production for another decade.
Doubt TP can push Forbes/Patty to different heights
2 years of ty production is not as bad as 10 years of even tier production of epic proportions.
Yea we really need that 2.7 ppg...
MVParker for sixth man award tbqh..
lets see that try to defend kawhi...fck that pos, hopefully kawhi or green shuts him down or best throw a fkn cheap elbow to the kent...
how can u have him back when barry is in the front office?
My first thought, since you asked, is that you should bite your fingers off before you do this kind of thread again.
Duncan is retired. Manu is retired. Tony has gone elsewhere to be a player-coach. It is perfectly right that each of them has done so. That is called reality.
Yes, the Spurs need a point guard, and they should continue to exert all efforts to find one and sign him. He should have athleticism, some NBA experience, and be between 25 and 30 years old.
Spurs had no idea Murray and Lonnie would go down in the preseason. If Pop had a crystal ball Tony would still be a Spur.
So in a sense based on cir stances letting Parker go looks silly but if Lonnie and Murray were healthy he wouldn't be as missed.
They have moved on, probably looking to trade for a PG now.
Parker still giving quality minutes outlasting Manu. Hopefully this ends the debate once and for all![]()
Hornets TP is trying to fit in with new teammates.. SA TP would still be playing hero ball. We're talking about 2 different players here.
