Been watching the spurs since the gervin days. It's only been a week, but the kawhi hype and success is making me sick to my stomach. I never thought it would be so bad that I don't want to even want to click or read anything about the nba in general.

Stop paying attention to the nephew and enjoy the Spurs! This is going to be a fun year with a team that seems to enjoy playing together. The drama of last year was the worst season ever and it's over. We aren't going to win every game and the 20 year run of being the 'most winning team in all team sports' has run its course. However, LMA, DDR, and Gay are pro-ballers and have potential.

lmao spurs patfo most overrated in the league still living on some reputation of 5 rings, and when was the last one? oh yeh thats right, they been doing alot of things since then with poor decision makings regarding roster (been going down every year, while other teams are improving yearly whether its getting more talent and stocking up on players)

why didnt they offer kawhi supermax even though he took 19m? lock him in and deal with it later, half ass injured kawhi is still better then the 2 busts of patty and gasoft

remove more deadweight on roster once u know enrique and ginoboli were leaving/retiring

u make kawhi happy by removing LMA (im done with this jumpshooting clown in a league full of weak bigs, he prefers to shoot then do his damage down low)

tell pop to go back to gm, and give someone else the coaching job...

I didn't get to watch the game, on a cruise this week with family. went down to have a smoke at the casino bar at 2am, they were showing game highlights, lebron misses freethrows, and patty hit the shot, I started screaming and pounding my hands on the bar, people looking at me like I was crazy.

1.You can chose not to watch him. He's going to get media buzz but like anything it can only have control over you if you give it attention.

2.It's a superstar league in which the media paints the superstars as god like figures so he will get a pass for what he did. The only time he will get crucified by the media is if he doesn't win a le in the next 4-5 years. Then they will turn on him like they have finally turned on Carmelo.
