At home tonight as we face a 2-3 Lakers team who have won their last 2 games after starting 0-3 and have looked much better than they did when we played them on Monday. Rondo returns from his 3-game suspension tonight. Spurs looking to bounce back from their ugly home loss against the Pacers. They have their work cut out for them tonight. Will be a tough one. Let’s get it.

This is not the same Spurs you’re accustomed to. Those teams are gone. This roster is extremely limited right now, especially defensively. Pop is a great coach, but he’s not a wizard. He can’t make old, undersized, and/or unathletic players suddenly the opposite of those things.
We are currently ranked dead last in Defensive Rating at 122.7, and are 4th worst in the league at giving up points in the paint, allowing 55 PPG there. Only the Suns, Lakers, and Kings worse right now.

Mills is the first player on the Spurs to ever single-handedly make me want to stop watching. He's that annoying and downright ty.
I appreciate your optimism! We can't go anywhere but up with our defense. Also the team will be rested and play hard to redeem themselves after last game's bomb. We might not get the 'W' but we will show up!

i’ve always hated the lakers... but not anymore since i’m a big lebron fan...
It will be close until the third and then we get blown out.

I hate them even more for that reason. I also live in LA and have to listen to re Lakers fans every year talk about how they’re going to get every Free Agent available every season. And if you say anything factual about their team towards them, they call you a “jealous hater” and say “16 rings!”
