Ayers, parks, poetl, rasho
I am picking arguably the scrubbiest of Spurs scrubs at PF/C positions since 1999. We are going to have a scrub off! You will vote each round for the WORST of the two players pitted together. We will proceed to the next round, etc etc. Players are seeded (#1 arguably the worst, to #8, arguably the best). You will vote in the comments and explain your vote. Let the scrub off begin!
#1 Jeff Ayers vs #8 Will Purdue
#2 Cherokee Parks vs #7 Francisco Elson
#3 Joffrey Lauvergne vs #6 Matt Bonner
#4 Drew Gooden vs #5 Rasho Nesterovic
voting closes tomorrow!
*update* Joffrey has replaced Jakob

Not a big fan of Poeltl but I think he hasn't really had enough time to be qualified on this list.
Rasho was the starting center for a team that held opponents to the lowest PPG in nba history iirc, he is also a champion so comparing him to Gooden is insulting tbh.
in terms of the tiest one of the two:
Ayres
Parks
Poeltl by a ing mile
Gooden
you forgot Mengke Bateer tho![]()
make a list about All-Star players the Spurs signed when they were washed up. T-Mac, Glenn Robinson, Dominique Wilkins, the list is long
I'd say a player should be here a full season to qualify.
I don't even know why nobody mentions Joffrey Lauvergne? He was worse than Poeltl
Tmac cursed this team in 2013. Should have won the le. Tmac curse is the original Melo curse.
he had a 26/10 game at leastlast years Joff has been looking better than this years Poeltl so far imo. I'm hoping that he's just in a funk and will get it together because i had high hopes for him and he was so much better in Toronto last year but hes been a complete disaster here thus far
Dully noted
No Dwayne Schintzius or Uwe Blab?
Davis Bertans gets backdoor swept. Not sure how he'll be able to rebound from this one.
Drew Golden wasn’t bad to me when he played for us. But the that’s just my opinion.
if blairs name appears on this list we riot
Drew was good on offense but Terrible on defense.
its either any duo of this trioo h2h, splitter/rasho/oberto
On a good note RC was present watching Nikola play hope they will be able to bring him over.
No ing way Perdue belongs on this list. He had a lot of good minutes frustrating the absolute living out of Shaq in that second round sweep. I still remember Shaq flipping out on the refs to end Game 2 of that series with the way Perdue was beating on him that game. I was sad the Spurs lost him to Chicago because he was an almost perfect backup 5 for that era.
We should go before 99, tbh. Cadillac Anderson and Jack Haley would be up there, tbh.
. Poor list really. Some good additions/replacements mentioned. Will Perdue was a good teammate and a good role player that made some good contributions in his time here. Rasho had the misfortune of coming in after David Robinson and you expected him to be David? Bonner doesn't deserve to be on it either as he was a skilled player with limitations that got criticized because he was called upon to play more and in certain situations because of other shortcomings on the team.
Everyone on the left side wins. Don’t think Rasho should be on this list at all. He was a pretty good defender and an important piece on that championship team
Mengke Bateer, Felton Spencer, Samaki Walker...
