From our “big three”. How’d Spurs lose when those three alone scored 80 pts? Bc the 4th and 5th players were guys like Dante ing Cunningham and Bryn fkn Forbes.

Because Pop is a ing scrub and he loves scrubs. No "he doesn't have the players to win" excuse tonight. This loss is on him and his soft wrinkled chode for Fatty.

Spurs attempt such a low number of 3s I always wonder how they will create separation in close games or crawl back during large deficits. Spurs had a similar number of attempts tonight, similar number of FTM but look at the 3PA... 27 vs 39 attempts, equaling to 7 more made 3s by the Lakers. Could have easily been worse as Lakers missed so many open 3s.

This team can't be fixed with more chemistry. Aldridge and DeRozan aren't going to suddenly stop being long mid-range shooters who don't open up any opportunities for 3pt shooters. Spurs need a fire sale and rework this team to fit today's league.

It was disappointing to see, but man Bertans is horrible on defense.

The stars are part of the problem. Derozan and LMA are one way iso players who's entire offense consists of the most inefficient shot in basketball. This would be fine if they had another dimension to their game...if Derozan was an all-defensive caliber wing, if LMA could anchor a defense like TD or KG. But they're not. So we're stuck with two throwbacks that never evolved past 2004 style basketball. It's like having two Carmelos on one team.

They weren't part of the problem AT ALL tonight. Not even close. They win the game with a competent coach.

DeMar can actually pass the ball, LA can't. And DeMar can create for himself and others, LA can't. Don't put them in the same sentence, DeMar is clearly the superior player.

You can't win if you can't play defense. THE END.

It wasn't that the D wasn't too bad. The Lakers hit insane 3s down the stretch. They took 39 tonight and hit their last 4. We completely controlled the game. But in today's nba, you will get a 3 off with a player like LeBron on your team. Spurs lost because they shot the 3 really poorly.

Spurs lost simply due to FT disparity sadly
    Fakers shot 33 FT's,Spurs only 20 FT's

Must be nice to be a big market team,ya know when your super stars actually get calls....

...the team didn't play that bad...for the Lakers to win they needed a big advantage in free throws and two miracle shots in the last minutes from LBJ (in these our defense cannot be considered guilty).
