On paper, this should add PG depth and make them better attacking the basket but its worrisome in a sense that he'd eat brogdons minutes.

It was Hill the contract more than Hill the player that netted the picks. I mean, I think MIL is betting that Hill the player is more useful than who they gave up too, but it makes sense because they get off Henson’s money and Dell money next year.

Spurs can partake in similar moves too with Rudy/Pau if they so choose. Pau being hurt limits his value some (unlike Hill) but Rudy should be especially attractive to teams with his level of play plus expiring deal.

Spurs would have to eat another year of someone else, but it can be done.

You try to hit two stones at once. This was probably their best salary dump trade that can also potentially improve their squad.

Agreed. Rudy could be that and more (since he’s playing better than Hill and completely off the books next year) for a team.

Just like those Pacers teams that couldn't quite beat the Heatles. Having a legit superstar, plus LeBron being in the West, gives these Bucks a much better shot.

They took on a lot of money next year, but not that it probably is going to matter for them.

Georgie was pretty unremarkable inUtah, so they flipped him. He was even more unremarkable in Cleveland , and they’re now flipping him.

George Hill is vastly overrated. MIL gave up too much. He is shooting the ball surprisingly well from 3 this season though, and they need 3-pt shooting so I get it.

Good news on Gasol injury front: He has been free of his walking boot since Tuesday. “Just another step in the right direction,” said the 38-year-old center, who has missed the last 16 games w/ a sore left foot (Pop called it a stress fracture). But still no target date to return
