That's cool! Congrats!
for being the UPS Seat Upgrade winner at last night's game (along with SpursWoman's son).
The irony is that SW wasn't there and we had just talked about it the day before at the luncheon that it's always the seats behind hers that win it.
The funniest thing of all was in the fourth quarter when Stan Kelly said, "Let's check on our UPS Seat Upgrade winners and see how they are enjoying the game" and then I looked up to the Lighthouse and it was just a UPS logo on the screen. I looked over to where they were upgraded to and their seats were empty.
I thought the camera man should have panned over to the empty seats.

Yeah ... he couldn't wait to call and rub it in. Now that they got to sit in Charter level, my normal seats aren't good enough anymore ....
Cool thing, too....my son saw 2 boys there that are in his class at school, so he gets bragging rights. Whatever it took to get his ass out of bed this morning.

I knew they did that pan back to the seats, but the guy who set it up never said anything about it much less when it would be. The funny thing was that we only got up that one time for just a brief second or two since we didn't want to miss too much time away from those seats.

Well, one of those upgraded seats costs what it did for both of us to go to that luncheon ... add in the receipt we didn't get for the charitable contribution and therefore can't use as a tax deduction and it about works itself out.
