    JANUARY 10, 2019

    Currently @ 24-18 (7th seed)

Spurs on pace to win between 47-48 wins this year.

Last year at this point they were 28-14. But then went 19-21 the rest of the season to barely make the playoffs @ 47-35.

This year we began much slower than last year but we are trending updwards at the moment.

According to tankathon.com, Spurs have the 21st toughest schedule for the remainder of the year. As long as team stays healthy, there is no reason why the spurs should not win at least 48 games.

    NEXT 10 GAMES:
If we want to stay on pace to win at least 48 games this year, we must go no worse than 6-4 in the next 10 games.

    vs Thunder
    @ Thunder - L
    vs Hornets
    @ Mavs
    @ Wolves
    vs Clippers
    @ 76ers - L
    @ Pelicans (b2b) - L
    vs Washington (b2b)
    vs Suns

I marked the losses, the rest should be W's. I can see us going 7-3 during this stretch. But like previously there probably will be a game we lose for no reason but then win a game we all thought we would lose.

The next 10 after that will be fun because that will include all of the rodeo road trip.

The last 8 games of the season are especially easy, which could come in handy:

    Charlotte
    Cleveland
    Sacramento
    Atlanta
    Denver
    Washington
    Cleveland
    Dallas

Some of those teams will be in full-tank mode too... though conference rivals may want to play the part of spoiler.

Unless they revert back to playing ty again. How can you rule that out?

You can't, but its typically about how the team is trending. Recent history and such.

Makes sense that the team took about a month or so to gel since this was essentially a brand new team and it took time to adjust to not only new players but injuries as well.

I think 48 wins is very possible.

I think it's possible too, but I'm pretty sure it's common for teams to peak in midseason and then fade again. At this point I'm honestly not sure which is more likely. This team is difficult to predict because they've been all over the place.

If we can find a way to be on the opposite side of the bracket as GSW, I feel like we can make something happen.

Sixers lost to...Wizards this week. They have issues. It's a winnable game.

I also think the Spurs won the last 2-3? games vs Pels.

    The rest sounds right.

No, we are 1-1 thus far this season vs the Pelicans. They won the last one by double digits. But it was before we found our defensive groove. They dropped 140 on us.

Can rest a little easier after that 2OT win. Losing that would demoralize this team to even show up in OKC
