Back at it tonight on the 2nd leg of a b2b as we host a 25-15 Thunder team who have lost 5 of their last 9, including their last 2 (both @ home vs WAS & MIN), but still currently sit at the #3 spot in the West. Rudy Gay continues to be OUT for the next “few games,” according to Pop. Game will also be nationally televised on TNT. Will be a tough one all things considered. Let’s get it.

CALL UP LONNIE!!!
I wonder if Rudy Gay did any more damage to his wrist when he came back for the Raptors game. Assuming thats why he is still out.
I'm glad we are at home, I think we can pull this one off. This team came back pretty strong against the Clippers after the loss to Denver the night before, it seems that lately we are responding well to losses. I hope that is the case again.
this game is must win..
No it’s not![]()
Start Bertans, no more 2 big lineups, I’d rather start Cunningham over poeti with lma
Well I would say a lot are must win games, but losing to the grizz and then this one at home puts a lot of pressure on the game vs. Thunder away, and then we run the risk of a 3 game skid.
Spurs flirting with lottery status, every W is important.
If Spurs can't win at home (either) ...
Spurs either shutting him down to avoid the Kawhi reputation or to keep his value low so they can re-sign him this offseason to another cheap deal.
No such thing as a must-win game in January brah
This game is the difference between "slipping again" and "still the hottest team in basketball." Very important.
And Westbrook.
I said yesterday that I thought Spurs would lose both games. Key thing is for the Spurs to play well, not to win a game in January. If they keep playing at that high level, they’ll make the playoffs barring injuries.
Winter losses become very important in the spring for obtaining HCA, esp for a team with a ty road record.
Right now the Spurs without HCA in first round will probably not see second round.
Spurs never seem to play good on ESPN games that start later..Hopefully tonite they will
I agree it’s important, as are all games, especially conference opponents. But “must-win” is a bit of a stretch me thinks.
It's a must win. We could easily fall out of the playoffs with a 2-3 game slide.
Spurs have some leeway since they kicked ass during the toughest stretch of their schedule, but I agree they need to win at least one of these games against OKC.
Y’all really not voting for our dudes #AllStar ?
Wonder if Pop tries out Pau as point guard tonight, maybe have him guard PG.
Who knows![]()
but then get right back into with with a 2-3 game streak.
But then...
