Reebok bought the "Swingman" rights from Nike during the summer. The Reebok Swingman jersey is the same thing as the Nike one from last year.

By the way Jigga have you seen the new Parker Swingman Jersey thats in camoflauge? Its a home jersey with the letters and numbers in the street camoflauge. I was gonna get it from finishline but didn't have the money for it at the time.

I think all replica jerseys are made by Reebok under the Swingman tag but the authentics are made by the brand that endorses the player. As far as the deal with the teams I think that that is up to who gives them the most money. Nike supports most of the teams in the NBA I believe but I don't have anything to back that up with.

I'm not sure if I understand your question but Nike was the more popular jersey maker but I think that they decided to stick with authentics. The Swingman label is still popular because it looks more authentic than the old Champion jerseys from back in the day.
