Just curious what you guys and gals thought about this eventuality. Granted, it would appear to be several years down the line, but still.....

    Best soccer coach ever.

I think his coaching style could translate to the NBA.

I would vote Eric Musselman, if he doesn't have a job.

I think Mike Brown will come back to coach at some point and Danny Ferry will be back as the General Manager.

Damn, I just opened up this thread and already all the best choices have been said. This is a tough question because the Spurs under Pop have cranked out a lot of top notch management and coaches. And given that Pop will probably with the Spurs for another 5-10 years there could still be even more great coaches to come out of this franchise. But if I had to pick one right now, I think AJ is the most likely, despite what a lot of people on this board feel towards him.

I could see any former Spurs player in that position. I could def see Tony Parker as a coach 20-30 years from now ( God, he's young!). Also, as mentioned AJ, Danny Ferry, and even Bruce Bowen...

come to think of it .. I bet Bruce would make the best former player turned coach.

But realisticly he;d do his best work in the DL. He;s just that kinda guy ya know? The hands on mold 'em while they are young kinda guy.
