I'd say PJ if he doesn't get a job elsewhere...
Just curious what you guys and gals thought about this eventuality. Granted, it would appear to be several years down the line, but still.....
The O-Matic
I'd say PJ if he doesn't get a job elsewhere...
Best soccer coach ever.
I think his coaching style could translate to the NBA.
god.... season, please start
I will be the Spurs coach in about 25 years.....
tony parker
when is down the line cause I dont see Duncan playing for anyone else?
when Pop retires as a coach, what makes you think that Pop wont move to the front office?
It's hard to say...who will be available?? When? nobody knows..it's hard to speculate this.
I would vote Eric Musselman, if he doesn't have a job.
Well I can see that this sincere thread is going nowhere. Thanks anyway.
Avery Johnson.
tony Parker will coach the regular season ...
But come play off time he will disappear forcing robert horry usually in charge of player development to take the coaching job lol
I think Mike Brown will come back to coach at some point and Danny Ferry will be back as the General Manager.
Whoever Pop says will be coach.
Damn, I just opened up this thread and already all the best choices have been said. This is a tough question because the Spurs under Pop have cranked out a lot of top notch management and coaches. And given that Pop will probably with the Spurs for another 5-10 years there could still be even more great coaches to come out of this franchise. But if I had to pick one right now, I think AJ is the most likely, despite what a lot of people on this board feel towards him.
First Avery, than Mike Brown and than Johnny Moore.
Some sort of basketball-coaching robot with simulated acne scars that is fueled by red wine.
why don't you guys run some laps or something. God, I'm so lonely![]()
I'd say me, and I will hire my bar buddies to be the assistants. We always makes the right calls during games ..... according to us.
I could see any former Spurs player in that position. I could def see Tony Parker as a coach 20-30 years from now (God, he's young!). Also, as mentioned AJ, Danny Ferry, and even Bruce Bowen...
better yet, we could be referees.
Pop is God
come to think of it .. I bet Bruce would make the best former player turned coach.
But realisticly he;d do his best work in the DL. He;s just that kinda guy ya know? The hands on mold 'em while they are young kinda guy.
