Lowest rated series ever

Not counting last night, this was reported as the lowest-rated World Series ever by TV ratings.

If this was the NBA, sportswriters would have this as the major headline every day, accompanied by gleeful predictions of the death of pro basketball and how the game sucks and the players are all s , etc. On page three we'd actually get a report of the game.

But, because it's Sainted Baseball, everyone covers it up.

I notice how we're not seeing any articles about how the White Sox are "boring" either.

The difference there is that journalists are afraid of getting the beat out of them by Chicago Southsiders, but not so much by San Antonio Southsiders.
