    Do we have enough talent?
Do we matchup well with "rest" and his team?

The problem i see in this matchup is the frontcourt. Leonard-Gasol-Siakam-Ibaka is probably the best in the league in terms of frontcourt depth.

In the backcourt, the spurs have the advantage. Derrick white and derozan are both going to produce more than lowry-Vanfleet and Green

Spurs win. The East is horribly overrated. Give Pop a chance to gameplan and they'll win.

I don’t find the raptors that impressive tbh. they lack chemistry and i think the Gasol trade made them worst.

The Spurs stomp the Raptors into the ground, would be way too personal. When you have a team with that much motivation, you get the juice.

Pop goes full godfather mode and tells all his players to put their foot under Kawhi's landing space. Make him have flashbacks and go full PTSD. Probably would end up sitting out of the finals and watch them in his crib back in NYC

Well, considering that they haven’t lost a game in March with wins over the Thunder, Nuggets, Bucks, Blazers and Warriors, the answer is pretty much everything. The Spurs scored efficiently in each one of those wins and outside of Milwaukee held all those teams below their usual offensive rating. They’ve won slow games and fast games. They’ve won games shooting well from the perimeter and poorly, though they’ve always shot well from two-point range. And in just about every game outside of one they’ve kept their turnovers down. Essentially, in what has been something off an odd season by San Antonio’s standards, they’ve been playing San Antonio basketball.

Raptors are beatable cause Lowry usually doesn't come up big in the first 2 games of every series. DeRozan would probably play the greatest basketball of his career. I think that would be a 7 game series

i dont think we could ever really put leonard in the same category as ibaka/gasol when referring to "frontcourt" players. the latter two are bigs and exclusively play center (ibaka has played center in 98% of his minutes per bball reference). LMA/Poodle are superior to gasol/ibaka, so i wouldn't worry too much about matching up with their bigs.

siakam would give us fits, we dont have anybody comparable. gay? ideally white gives lowry fits and the onus goes on kawhi to carry the load by himself.

for the spurs to beat any decent team in a series, we're going to need at least 3 of mills/forbes/marco/bertans to contribute on a nightly basis

I think that if somehow the raptors have reached the finals is because Lowry finally was able to overcome his PO struggles

lol at the idea of the Spurs making the finals.

I will play anyway , if the Spurs make the finals, it means they are playing well and somehow found another level. In that case, I would expect the Spurs to completely obliterate the Raptors and the s bag, given that they matchup pretty well against them already. If the Spurs found another level, the dominance would be even bigger.

I thought Trump supporters only knew how to copy and paste White supremacist quotes so this is technically some progress for ducks, tbh.

After a close series, Kawhi will rip his Toronto jersey off revealing the San Antonio Spurs uniform underneath in the final minutes of Game 7 and re-sign the following year. Derrick White wins Finals MVP and Kawhi wins Load Management MVP. Raptors are relocated to Las Vegas.

Narratively speaking it would get fans an casual fans watching.

Hypothetical, Spurs would be completely tuned in to win that series if it happened and I like their chances
