Yeah, there's other threads about this already.
Looks like everything aligned for the Spurs to reach the WCF, tbh... Denver is probably happy they made the playoffs, and the whole al ude thing might work out for a game or two, but eventually evens out.
OKC and Portland are probably going long in their series, with the guests being perennial chokers and hopefully westbrook running on fumes by the time we get to face them.
Anything but the Conference finals feels like a choke, IMO.
What? Tim and Manu retired? Oh .
Yeah, there's other threads about this already.
That's alright bud we got wind stop, goddammit
5,6,7 and 8 seeds are usually destined to lose in the 2nd round when they past the first round.
That was an almost perfect night for the Spurs. These past two days could only have been better, had OKC lost in Milwaukee.
I agree. Perfect.
Nuggets first then OKC next. Both teams are beatable!!
Agreed but this team isn't winning 2 consecutive series without HCA..
The Spurs are so bad on the road I find it amusing how most people here think they will beat Denver. Yeah, they got lucky how the seeding turned out, but the propability is still quite slim. They will produce one stinker at home where the threes do not fall, so how will they win two of four road games?
the first step will be to steal one of the first 2 road games. If we make that happen I like our chances

op so funny

this will be a fun bump

If we get to 6 or 7 games, I'll be happy with that. Our odds are slightly better at upset this round, but we're so bad on the road that I just don't see us upsetting the nuggets. But opportunity is better than us playing Rockets or Golden State, but not by much.
usually but if we reach the 2nd round, we'd be playing an injured Blazers team or an OKC team we match up well with.
Crazy thought. The first round may be more difficult than the 2nd round.
Not too surprising when you're the 7 seed. The 2 seed should be a tougher opponent than the 3 or the 6.
WCF is very attainable this year. OKC is even worse than Denver. Don’t goof this up San An!!
Every year - spur fan looks past opponent to the "next" round...
here spur fan is already looking to the WCF -
we never learn
True that.
Not really used to thinking of it in that way. I'm just really happy knowing that theres at least a slimmer of hope in winning the 1st round as opposed to last year when when there was 0.01% chance we would win.
Doesn't matter. Still getting a disgusting sweep.
Beating Sacramento the other day would've put them in 6th place to play vs Nurkicless Blazers.
Spurs can't win on the road. I'm happy with this because I don't have to watch the Warriors gloat for 4 games, not because Spurs have an actual chance.

Don't worry, DMo will carry us to the Promised Land.
It's called being a homer, Homer
I would be satisfied with a compe ive game 7. This team has no business advancing to the WCF.
I wish the Clippers and OKC were switched, though.
I think the Spurs beat the Nougats in game 2 then hold serve at home and win in 6. If we get the Blazers we'll beat them handily, OKC is a tough one.
If you need to bump, we choked IMO.
