I've always been impressed with how great Eva L. looks with litte or no eye makeup.

In the makeup before/after pics, it's most often the eye makeup that is the dramatic difference.

It was funny that Harriet Miers dropped the heavy eyeliner in the weeks after nomination durring after it characterized in editorial cartoons. Either way, didn't help.
