Ouch. Maybe because of the sweep? I don't know but I heard that on the news this morning getting ready for work.
Why would the ratings be dropping so much?

Oh well, i guess it didn't have the sex appeal of like Last year....jeez
I didn't watch one pitch of that last year and wasn't going to..i tuned into this years to see what would play out, and even though it was a sweep, the games were pretty good and close..it wasn't one sided.

In the current entertainment climate, unless the Yankees, Mets, Red Sox, Dodgers, Cubs, or Braves make the World Series, ratings will be low.
The last WS without one of those teams was Marlins-Indians in 1997, and its ratings sucked too.
It takes more than Chicagoland and H-Town...
